This is a series of photos I shot using film. During the developing process I exposed the paper through a transparency with the words of the poem on them.
The resulting effect is a beautiful poem and picture sequence made for a loved one.

My Pain

This photo was taken in early spring of 03. The subject is a young man who had cancer (17), the staples are from the surgery.
This photo won a gold metal at the scholastics art and writing competition in 2003.

I used a combination of shadow pattern and reflection and the rule of thirds... basic stuff to make a dramatic presentation of this lower end finder guitar.
