Hiya I'm Jon Lees and I love photography! Most of my photography is based around North West England where I live. I mostly look at photography as a fun hobby, but it would be nice to make a living out of one of my passions. Nature is one of many ways to escape human civilization, I love the 'public footpath' sign, you know there's going to be something fantastic down there! I'm going to keep adding to this page so if you're interested, keep coming back.

Urban photography from around where I live. There is alot of random urban places in England that are good for photography. Just thought I'd make a page for them (bored student). I do enjoy the compositions within urban photography but not the places..I will keep adding to this page so come back if you are interested

Photos from paris..most are of random french people in the street taken for college photography assignment to do with people. I decided in retrospective, I love the place but hate the people.

I like taking photos of people, it depends on the subject.. animals are alot more interesting..
I find when taking photos of people I look for emotion, and that sometimes makes the photograph.

Crosby Beach - Liverpool
These 100 statues are by the artist that made 'angel of the north' in Newcastle. These statues have been to Cuxhaven in Germany, Stavanger in Norway, De Panne in Belgium and now Liverpool (which is strange..)
and I heard they were going to move these statues to New York, so I went out to capture their strange beauty before it's too late.
