Spring is such an amazing time of year... and I missed my camera this winter and now want to take pictures of EVERYTHING!

Had so much fun at the 80th Annual Kite Festival here in Austin. The weather was very windy - which I thought could lead to disaster, but these many kite handlers were a talented bunch! These are the first pictures I've been able to take since around November when my camera died on me, and I am so thrilled to go places with my camera in my hands again. And maybe for my 30th birthday I'll get a nicer one.... That's only a month away, so we'll see :)

These are completely un-enhanced - I think they came out pretty cool exactly as they are! I thought this spot would be closed at night, but when I walked back by, I discovered it has these amazing lights. And the people came out very ghostly, which I like as well.

hey thanks for the comments...
I did change the preview picture. I didn't even think of that stuff. They'll be more SF pictures soon.. I've lived all over SF for 5 years and never really took many pictures so I'm going to places I like and taking lots of pictures...
