San Pedro is an amazing city. I hope my images can back that up. As this gallery grows my goal is to convince some of you out there that San Pedro is truly a unique and beautiful place, with many different faces. The culture and history within this city make it like no other.

A beautiful sunset makes an otherwise unattractive weed look gorgeous. This was taken at Sunken City, a collapsed area of development on the edge of the North American continent, in San Pedro.

The Korean Bell of Friendship
Located in Angels Gate above the old war bunkers from WWI. The bell is intricately decorated with four pairs of figures, the Goddess of Liberty and a Korean spirit, engraved in relief on the body of the bell.

Donated by South Korea, the bell is rung three times each year: The Fourth of July, August 15th (Korean Independence Day) and New Year’s Eve.

An Evening Walk Down the Pedro Waterfront

An Evening Walk Down the Pedro Waterfront

This is a new area of development in San Pedro. It allows you to get really close to the Vincent Thomas Bridge. During a short walk just to check it out, I snapped some shots of these palm tress and just had fun trying to play with the lights that were around. Next time I want to bring my tripod and get up close to the bridge.
