Very cool
Boy that one in your hand is small. Nice shots and great timing with the tongue! I'd be a little intimidated on my belly next to it, but I'd Do it;) Do they bite?

thanks so much for your comment and the feature, they are harmless snakes. my neighbour's son, 5, has been bit a few times but he torments them. they don't have teeth or venom but can pinch. doesn't hurt an adult. mostly they slither away. i have never been bit. awesome little critters. i have many on my property. thanks again.....jude
