Nick Carlson's PortfolioPosted by Nick Carlson on 1/9/2006Hello! My Name is Nick Carlson.
Thanks for taking the time to look at some of my photos. If you are having a hard time finding a particular gallery you can view the MAP OF MY GALLERY by clicking that option below my profile pic near the BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE. You can see even more of my photos at www.truelifeimages.com EMAIL ME at truelifeimages@yahoo.com Here's some words I came up with in relation to my photography... "Do you see what I see? Unfortunately, for me, it's not as easy as it seems, for we, as individual people to see things equally. Therefore, I am here for the reason being, to help people start seeing the beauty that lies before my eyes, for some do not realize that life is a prize, worth saving through the engraving of time within these images of mine." Sunrise at the Joshua Tree National Park Cholla Gardens. These cholla (choy-ya) are abundant here in the Pinto Basin area of this desert landscape due to larger amounts of groundwater and very porous gravel-like soil. |

Thanks for the comment J. Gettler: Hey... I was just responding to the comment about the photo titled "The Kid." To answer your question about the photo, I simply zoomed in while the photo was being taken (I think it was like a 3 or 4 second exposure) and everything just happened to work out perfectly. Well, I also wanted to say that your work is amazing and Im always looking forward to your new stuff. 1/7/2007 1:52 AM |

Thanks Rachel Baker: Thank you for the comment. It means a lot. I would not even consider my self to be a amateur photographer, but it is nice to read the positive comment. I see something beautiful I feel the need to capture it the way I see it. To me, sharing those pictures gives people a look into the beautiful things in my life. Your pictures are amazing, they really seem to present and capture that moment. Best of luck! 2/27/2007 10:57 PM |
